Explore our services below — and if you are not sure which one you need, feel free to get in touch for honest, practical advice.

Standard Chimney Sweep

Our standard sweep service is perfect for regularly used chimneys with a known history. We carry out a thorough sweep of your open fire, stove, or wood burner to remove soot and debris, helping to prevent chimney fires and improve ventilation. The service includes a visual check, a smoke draw test, and a certificate issued by the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps, which many insurers require for policy compliance. Fast, clean, and reliable — just how chimney care should be.

New Homeowner Chimney Inspection

If you have recently moved into a property and aren’t sure about the condition or safety of your chimney, this service is for you. We provide a visual inspection of the fireplace, lower flue, and external terminal (viewed from ground level), followed by a full chimney sweep. A smoke test and internal CCTV inspection give a detailed view of the flue’s condition, and you will receive a comprehensive report with recommendations. Optional drone inspection is available to check the chimney stack externally (additional fee). Peace of mind for new homeowners.

Chimney Integrity Test

Before reusing an old fireplace, it’s vital to make sure the flue is safe and functional. Over time, chimneys can suffer from structural wear, blockages, or internal damage — especially after modifications or suspected chimney fires. Our Chimney Integrity Test is designed to identify any hidden issues that could compromise your home’s safety. Using CCTV technology and smoke pressure testing, we assess the full length of the flue, we do external testing to ensure the chimney stack is in good working order and provide honest, practical advice along with certification for your records.

Nest Removal

Nests are a common cause of chimney blockages — whether from birds, wasps, or other pests — and can pose serious fire and ventilation risks. We safely and professionally remove inactive or abandoned nests to keep your flue clear and your home safe.

Please note: under UK law, active bird nests or nests that could still be in use cannot be removed between March and July. If you are affected during this time, we can assess the situation and arrange for removal as soon as it’s legally permitted.

We will also offer prevention advice and can recommend or install chimney cowls to help stop nests from returning in the future.

Drone Chimney Inspection

Gain a clear, close-up view of your chimney stack without the need for ladders or scaffolding. Our CAA-registered drone inspection service uses HD cameras to capture detailed visuals of your chimney’s external structure, identifying issues like cracked brickwork, missing pots, or deteriorating pointing. It’s a fast, cost-effective, and safe way to inspect chimneys that are hard to access, especially on tall or listed buildings. Ideal for diagnostics, insurance claims, or pre-sale checks.

Stove Servicing & Maintenance

Your stove and flue work hard through the winter months — and just like a car, they need regular servicing to stay safe and efficient. Our stove service includes cleaning internal parts, checking seals, inspecting the flue system, and replacing worn components where needed. We will ensure everything’s working correctly and issue a Guild of Master Sweeps certificate in PDF format for your records and insurance provider. Whether it’s a multi-fuel stove, log burner, or inset appliance, we will get it running like new again.

Cowl & Cap Installations

A chimney cowl or cap is a simple yet essential addition to your chimney system. It prevents birds, rainwater, downdrafts and debris from entering the flue. This helps your fire or stove burn more cleanly and safely. We offer a range of solutions to suit different chimney types and property styles, from anti-bird cowls to rain caps and anti-downdraft designs. Most installations can be done safely with ladders and harnesses, but if special access equipment is needed, we will provide a clear quote beforehand.

Biomass Boiler Sweeping

Biomass boilers produce fine, sticky soot that builds up in their flue systems — and if left untreated, it can restrict airflow or cause dangerous blockages. Our biomass boiler sweep service is tailored for these setups, using specialist tools and modern techniques to safely remove residue. This helps your boiler run more efficiently and ensures continued safe operation. Please ensure the boiler is cold on the day of the service, as sweeping cannot be carried out on a hot appliance.

CCTV Chimney Inspection

For a detailed look inside your flue, our CCTV chimney inspection is the perfect solution. Using a high-resolution camera, we check for internal damage, blockages, creosote build-up and any structural concerns that a standard sweep might miss. It’s ideal for diagnosing smoke issues, preparing for fireplace reinstatement, or following up after a suspected chimney fire. We will provide image documentation and can include inspection footage on your sweeping certificate if needed.
